Campground Accommodations for Ontario Musky Fishing
If you're traveling by RV, motorhome or with a travel trailer, plan your fishing trip at one of our many campgrounds that offer
great muskie fishing. Many other species of fish are available in Sunset Country as well - walleye, northern pike, lake trout, crappie and bass to name a few. With thousands of square miles of boreal forest and tens of thousands of lakes, Northwest Ontario is one of the most beautiful camping destinations in North America. Across the region you'll find a wide range of lakeside camping options to choose from. Full service
RV Parks can be found throughout the region - stay for a night, a week or the whole season if you want! Most campgrounds also have sites designated for tents. As you bask in the sun and enjoy the view from your campsite, you'll likely want to take a dip in the refreshing waters of the lake nearby or enjoy a picnic with your family under the shade of a towering pine. Most campgrounds offer the traveler the conveniences of a central showerhouse, laundromat, convenience store, dumping station and much more. If you are bringing your own boat, for a small fee (or sometimes free) you can use the boat launch and docking facilities at the campground. Some tourist outfitters also rent boats if you are not bringing your own.
Each year, Sunset Country is the chosen destination of many campers from across Canada and the U.S. Why are we such a popular camping destination? Sunset Country's natural beauty is a given, but it's the great service and wide variety of camping choices which keep people coming back year after year. Our location in central Canada also provides an accessible wilderness region just north of the border for our American friends - in fact you can drive to your campsite within half a day from many locations in the U.S. Midwest. The choice is clear, for a camping vacation that offers fantastic scenery, long summer days and cool nights, Sunset Country in Northwest Ontario has few rivals in Canada.
